Bawell water ionizers are built to last. We are dedicated to providing affordable solutions
for the home with the level of quality you expect in a product that last for many years to come. That is why our machines are covered by a lifetime warranty however changing the filters on time each year is important to keep your machine working properly over its lifetime. Our ionizers feature an
internal filter which can handle 6,000 liters or 1,585 gallons of water before it needs to
be changed. In other words, if you were to produce four to five gallons a day, you would get a year
of service from our filters. It is important to note that you should change your filter at one years time or when the filter life runs out, whichever comes first.
Our water ionizers also feature an optional pre-filter device for people who do not have
drinkable tap water. People living in a city with poor tap water quality or in places
where they draw water directly from a well or other ground water source such as a river or
a lake should use a pre-filter with their machine to remove additional gross contaminants
from their source water. If the city's tap water is higher quality and is considered
drinkable then you do not need the pre-filter. The water ionizer's internal activated
carbon filter is enough to remove Chlorine, Flouride, Lead, Benzene, Pesticides and
Herbicides, Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC) Radon, Solvents, Trihalomethane (THM)
compounds, unpleasant odor, and hundreds of other man-made chemicals found in tap water.
Other water filtering methods such as reverse osmosis, distillation, and standard water
filtering simply don't offer the same health benefits as one of our water ionizers but you may use them in conjunction with our machines to achieve a higher degree of filtration.
